QM2 C2 cabin questions

Hi!

We booked a D1 guarrantee cabin and just found out we were upgraded to a C2 cabin 5015 on the QM2. Does anyone know about this room? I know it is located forward on the ship and by the deck diagram it seems to be a bit larger than some C2 cabins. Is this so, and also what size/how is the view from that location?

We had a friend in the matching cabin on the opposite side of 5 deck. It has a window, about 4 decks above the water. It's a little bit bigger than the balcony cabins. Since there's no balcony, you get about 3-4 extra feet of cabin space.

I'm glad to see we have a little more room and a window (hopefully it is a little larger than a porthole!) as an added bonus! I'm glad to see the deck floor plans were correct. I'll let you know how we liked the room when we get back!
