TheCalicoCat Posted May 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 24, 2017 My son knows & I expect him to write a daily journal while on our cruise. (He did this on our last cruise with minimal consternation - he was in Kindergarten at that time.) My son is now 8.5 & capable of writing multiple sentence paragraphs. (So I'm looking for more than fill in the blank ideas.) We will be on a 14-night cruise. What journal prompts would you suggest? Thanks.

Thanks. Well for each port of call, you can have him journal about the most interesting thing he learned and why. Or have him describe in detail something you visited and what makes it important. You can have him journal about what is different at cruising at 8 vs 5. Or about the kids or counselors from his camp program on sea days. What does he find most interesting on the ship? Can you take a behind the scenes tour and have him describe the details? Have him journal about where he would like to go next and why. Hope those get you started....
