Sorry, I have read a few threads concerning this topic...however looking for specific info if someone knows? We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Super Dome and looking for options for Transport to and from the Port. Also if by cab, do you know the rates?

By the way we will have a group of around 80 people going?

Cabs are for two people and are about $8-10 per trip to the cruise port.

Machu Picchu is a shuttle/tour company that we always use in NO and he has full size buses, mini buses and vans. I would give him a call and see what he says. Owner is Angel and the number is 504) 561-9050. Nice folks.

We cruise last January and we used KLM Transportation

I have no idea what pricing would be for a group of 80, but it was the best price for our group of 6.

They were prompt and courteous. We will be using them again for our October cruise.

We used Machu Picchu in the past and plan to use them again in April. We drive and go directly to Machu Picchu's property. We leave our vehicle there along with all our luggage other than our overnight bags. They take us to our hotel and then pick us up the next morning in the shuttle where they have transferred all our luggage from our car to their van. Seemless, stress free.

Taxis to the port charge per person, and it is $7 per person standard fare from the Warehouse district, even though some locations are only a couple of blocks away. Not sure if the price is the same from Superdome area, but checking with a bus tour operator seems like a great option for you.
