What to do with a couple of hours to spare before snorkel trip in Basseterre/St.Kitts

We're scheduled to go on a sail and snorkel trip from 12:45 to 4:45 and were wondering whether it's worth simply wandering around Basseterre for a couple of hours in the morning (and if so, what to do if anything other than wandering). (2 adults and 2 kids ages 8 and 10) Any suggestions or explanations appreciated. Thanks in advance.
