Altos de Chavon -- $25 fee or not?

hi, researched the forums but still confused. seems like those who took taxis paid $25 to go through casa de campo grounds to get to altos but those who took the shuttle didn't? help!

Me too...I'm also confused about the $25. I was thinking of renting a car but would like to confirm this before I decide to rent.

Well I received a reply from someone earlier today on another thread and they said there are no other fees except what you pay for the shuttle to take you there. Hope this helps.

Thanks!! I had read if you go on the shuttle there are no extra fees but I think I also read that there is a $25 fee pp if you don't use the shuttle. I was thinking about renting a van for my family of 8 but if we have to pay the fee, then I will revert to other plans.
