Hotel recommendations near the Manhattan NY Cruise Port that offer parking & shuttle

Has anyone stayed at that Hilton Garden Inn in Ridgefield Park NJ? They offer the hotel stay, free parking at hotel during your cruise and transportation to and from the Manhattan cruise port. I'm curious to hear about anyone's experience with this package. Is the parking safe? Has anyone found a similar package at another hotel you would recommend? Thank you.

This is a new offering. Not much feedback yet. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least one positive review. The only other options are Embassy Suites in Secaucus (they quote one way transportation only) and the Ramada Plaza at Newark Airport through trinityreservations.com.
