Does Beach City Market near the Doubletree sell alcohol?

I found on Mapquest the Beach City Market which is walkable from the Doubletree. Has anyone been in this store? It appears to be a small convenience store. In Illinois convenience stores sell alcohol - is this true in CA? Thanks for your help

They do but you may want to call ahead and see what they have. It is my understanding this place just went through an ownership change and they are trying to upgrade the location. There is another liquor store at the corner of 7th and Centre Street in Downtown San Pedro as well as our fine wine shoppe, Off The Vine, at the corner of 6th and Pacific. These are not walking distance though from the DoubleTree.

Bump Does anyone know of any place closer to the Doubletree.
