parking across from terminal in galveston

Don't know if this has been asked before, but, a couple months ago we drove down to Galveston just to look around and driving past Conquest, we noticed a walkway over the street leading from what seemed to be a parking garage to the Carnival terminal. Does anyone know if this is parking for Carnival passengers, and if so how can it be arranged to park there. It's covered and seems alot more secure than the other lots in the area. We're sailing in April and Nov of 2011 and this sure would be good to know

From what I understand, all downtown multi-level parking garages are short term parking only.

There is no parking lot or garage just for Carnival pax.

Thanks for your response, Kat. We used Ez Cruise last time on Rhapsody and last year we sailed out of Bayport. so i didnt know if this was something new. Again I appreciate your kind response

Then again, at this time you could park for free on the downtown streets... but I would not advise it!!
