Carnival Splendor Cabin 8448

I booked cabin 8448 (9A) wraparound on the Verandah deck. I am interested in the opinions and/or photos of those who have stayed in this cabin or 8459

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

booked 6448 on Splendor and wondering what it is like (Upper deck, 8A)

dprcan: in most of our time at the Adults only pool on Deck 9, we would look down and see this huge balcony below. We thought the room would be bigger than the regular balcony rooms.

I was in 8432 just a few rooms away. At the end of the cruise, the people had already gone so we looked inside. The housekeeping guys will let you do this as nearly everyone is gone. The room itself is not any bigger than the other rooms. Its actually a bit awkward. But its a nice room and if you don't mind the angle - the size of the balcony would certainly make up for it.

Thanks for the info. We cruised on the Splendor on 2009. We loved the balcony. The room had an akward shape, but it was very comfortable for 2 people. The only complain was, we were suppossed to go the Mexican Riviera, but wound up going north(San Francisco, Seattle and Victoria Island), because of the H1N1 flu. We could had enjoy the balcony much better it it was warm,
