Never been on a cruise and have never been to Montego Bay. We're looking for a nice quiet inexpensive resort that offers a day pass and is close to the cruise ship terminal. I'd appreciate any suggestions

I'm looking at the same possibly. I was just thinking of taking a cab to close by Dr Caves beach. It's like 6 bucks to get in. 10 bucks I think for a chair and umbrella. They have a restaurant and bar right there.

Prob be way less than a resort. But at least a resort has a pool.

We did sunscape splash through resort for a day. It was pricey at $80 per person, but it was all you could eat and drink. Plus non motorized water sports were included.

The drinks were great, bar tenders were awesome with concocting drinks for you, if you preferred that.

The lazy river and pools were nice. And the beach was great too.

We kayaked in the ocean! Loved it!!!

We normally book our day passes through shore excursioneer. We booked last time the Royalton, it's around 40 minutes away from cruise port. Food and drinks were really great as well as the beach, not that close but transportation was included. I heard the Hard Rock is open now in Montego Bay, and their beach and pool seems really nice, it seems to be 5 minutes away from the port, we would try that one next time.
