Christmas day on Carnival Dream 2014

I have recently tried to book a stingray city tour on December 25 2014 and have been told twice now that the port will be closed on Christmas Day. So no ships will be boarding on the cayman this day however Carnival has not changed the day of arrival on this 7 night cruise on the Dream out of New Orleans and I am wondering if anyone has any other information regarding this cruise or where I can get this information.

We are on the same cruise, and I would certainly like to know if we are NOT going to Grand Cayman on December 25. I was thinking about booking an independent tour. Will be watching these boards to get info as we get closer.
