Fairstar late 1970s-80s ??

Did anyone take a Sitmar cruise on the Fairstar from late 1970s - 1980s? particularly 1978. I am hoping someone has information on a Portuguese waiter working on that ship called Ricardo Oliviera. Thanks in advance :)

Thanks for your reply. I am on the TSS Fairstar page and have posted 3 requests for information on there over the last year. I have received support from people but no solid information :( Perhaps i'll see if another FB group can help.

P&O took over Sitmar and changed it into the Princess cruise line that we know today. A lot of the Sitmar staff transferred over to Princess , so perhaps a note on the Princess board or the Princess Facebook?
