Planer's Edge Posted October 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2006 I understand the limits on carrying liquids through airport security. Does anyone know what the restrictions are concerning food? We usually takes bagels and cream cheese with us for an inflight snack. We have not flown since the newest scares, will this be allowed? KAYEF Posted October 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2006 My daughter brought banana bread spread with cream cheese to us at the airport and I was hesitant but it was FINE....no problem..........so Iwould guess bagels would be fine as well. I always take yogurt and sliced apples; now, I'm wondering about the yogurt this time...................we prefer to take some more healthy things than are available for purchase (and temptation) in the airport.:p
JJPNYC Posted October 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2006 The bagels will get through security with no problem. I could see the cream cheese causing some problems though if there is an overly sensitive TSA agent on duty that particular day.
