Upgrade on board

i bought a nonalcoholic package for upcoming cruise. 18/day plus tax. If I decide I want to drink a lot once get on ship can it be upgraded such that I get credit for what I paid?

Also I heard there's an option to buy bottles of wine. Is that just for the dining room? Can u take it back to room?

Will they add shots to your refresh package beverages like coffees and just charge for shots

You can upgrade the Refreshment package to the Deluxe package by paying the difference on board.

You can buy bottles of wine and take them anywhere on the ship.

Shots run around $8-$9.

Went on Liberty this past June. My wife got the refreshment package. Said she didn't think she would drink that much. We were onboard at noon, by 3pm she was 4-5 drinks in and I upgraded her package. Needless to say, she got her moneys worth.

Here is something to keep in mind. The price (difference) you pay during a sale, could be a lot less then an upgrade onboard.
