Lost Driver's License in Port of NOLA

As we were coming back through customs yesterday, my license was lost somewhere between the customs agent & the car. I didn't realize until I got home. Is there anything that can be done to find it or should I just report it missing & get a replacement? I tried calling the port but haven't heard back.

I would assume it's gone forever and I would apply for a new one.

On the off chance someone finds it, maybe they will mail it to the address on the license.
