cruisePAC Posted March 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2015 I've browsed the threads on Antigua and have seen many people suggest to take the bus to various areas of interest. Where is the closest bus station? We're considering going to Darkwood Beach and it appears that we would take bus #22. Thanks for the info. Buses to south and west side are at the station on Market St, which is quite close. You walk directly inland from the pier a couple of blocks; to your right you will see a large statue of someone's head. Go that way. To your left a large market building. To your right the bus station. Bus # in top of window or ask somebody; they'll tell you. Pay when you leave the bus. Couple of bucks US. Easy. Buses come back every 1/4 hour or so, just flag one down or stop at a marked stop. There's a stop at Darkwood by the snack shack. Left side of road. Looks to me like it's pay as you go. I know Darkwood has no trouble accepting US dollars.
