Screws Spa question

We are interested in just visiting Screws Spa this trip as we've seen the sights before with Levi. Has anyone recently taken a cab from the port to the spa and what was the round trip cost?

We recently went to Screws Spa where they did indeed tried to screw us by doubling the price we agreed on in email correspondences. Our driver took us to Tia's Spa which is literally 50 yards around the corner and only cost $5 per person. We spent around 2 hours there. After Tia's, we went to Mero Beach for a couple hours. Our driver stayed with us the whole day. We did not book in advance, but bargained with the dispatcher who will accost you as you exit the pier. In the end, the cost was so reasonable that, really, I don't remember what it was. But it was CHEAP! Just don't accept the first price they give you!

Just back today from a cruise on the Breakaway. Visited Screw Spa for the second time while in Dominica.

The cost for entrance has gone up to $20 per person. We negotiated a taxi $15pp round trip payable at the end. Stayed for 2 hours and the driver waited for us. Had a great time. So relaxing. Had the place to ourselves.
