Hi lyndaedris

There is no need to change your Us to Barbian dollars if you do that you might just end up stuck with alot of Barbadian money that will be useless to you once you get home US$1.00 = BDS$1.98 some places take US$1.00 to BDS$2.00 you should remember this when paying any bills:)

Have a great cruise lyndaedris:cool:

Most shops, taxi's etc, the exchange rate is 2.00bbd to 1.00usd. I would (and always on any cruise) suggest that you take US in small bills, 5.00, 10.00 20.00 bills. Us the small possible when paying for an item, as per the government you are only supposed to get change in Barbados dollars even if you pay in US. However, there are some places etc that will make change in US. but only bills. US coins are not used here at all, so don't bring those to pay. You might be a combination of change in US bills and Barbados coins. don't be confused by this just double the coins to get the right us amount.
