Don't know the taxi cost, but a 1 day ferry/bus pass is $15 per person or if paying cash on the bus I think it would be an $8 round trip fare from Kings Wharf.(need exact change.) SailBadtheSinner Posted April 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2014 Im sure this gets asked alot...but does anyone know the price for a taxi to and from Horseshoe Bay? The 2013 taxi fare to/from the Dockyard <> Horseshoe Bay for up to 4 passengers was about $28.00, but since a 25% increase in fares starts 5/1/14, the new fare s/b about $35.00. Things to consider bus vs taxi. If you take the bus to/from HSB, you have to walk from the bus stop to the beach on the access road a distance of over .3 miles, or you could pay $2.00 to ride the shuttle up and down the access road; the taxi drops you at the beach parking lot. The bus trip takes about 35 minutes, and you could be unlucky enough to stand the whole time. The taxi does the trip in about 20 minutes. A scheduled route #7 bus runs every 30 minutes on the :00 & :30. SBtS

adkboy Posted April 4, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Four of us took a taxi from Dockyard to Horseshoe Bay Beach (Oct., '11) and the cost was $35.00 with tip. On the way back to the cruiseship, the driver went off the beat and path and explored some beautiful neighbors and vantage points for photos and the cost was $45.00 with tip. All of the drivers were professional and personal. My family and I are heading back on April 19th aboard the Explorer of the Seas. Sail On!
