junebug05 Posted May 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2005 Hi everyone!! This is my first post, but I've been lurking for quite some time now... My husband and I are booked on the Explorer in cabin 9576. I keep doubting my decision, not sure why. I'm thinking about moving up from the D2 to a D1, with cabins 1362/64 and 1662/64/66 being available. The difference in cost is only $100. Can anybody tell me if there is an advantage to switching cabins or if I should just leave well enough alone? I know the same thing is asked over and over, sorry. This is our first cruise and I seem to be doubting my decisions every step of the way... Thanks in advance for any advice you have to offer:D J
karen2cruz Posted May 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 23, 2005 The difference between a D2 and D1 is where it's located on the ship - I wouldn't change. $100 can buy alot of photos or drinks!
junebug05 Posted May 23, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted May 23, 2005 I figured as much. Also did some looking and realized that the cabins on deck 10 are directly beneath the Windjammer. Might not have been an issue, but I have to imagine that's why they're not booked. I'll just stick with what I have and use that $100 for something fun:D Thanks J
