I have booked many tours through italytoursharing.com in Naples, rome and Florence and they are great but I'm wanting a tour in venice. Something different. Anybody have any suggestions?

I know venice is a d y I port but I'll be solo so looking for suggestions?

I booked a couple of walking tours through viator dot com. Paid for in US $ before we ever left home. You get a voucher and instructions where to meet.

We did one walking tour that included a stop for gelato and ended with a gondola ride. The other walking tour was a "Ghost Walking Tour" (unfortunately it was pouring rain that night, so really put a damper on that tour), but the tours still go even in the rain.

But on both we saw the back alleys of Venice. Combined with our own wanderings, we felt we saw a lot of Venice. The guides spoke English as well as Italian and German. It is not uncommon for guides in Europe to have multiple language skills.

Have a great trip.
