Hotels in Baltimore

Hi all! We are looking for some input for hotel suggestions for when we go onto the Carnival Pride in July. We are getting married on Sunday July 5th on the ship and figured it would make life a lot easier to go down the morning of the 4th (I know...it's a holiday...so it will probably be a little chaotic) since we live about 3-4 hours away and we can spend the day/evening at Inner Harbor and watch the fireworks (which we have done back in 2008, was beautiful!). Our questions are if anybody has stayed overnight in Baltimore (if so which hotel) and have you left your vehicle at the hotel instead of paying for parking at the terminal? We would like to start looking for rooms soon so we know we are booked before it's too late. Thanks!!:D

Try the airport hotels. They are not near the Inner Harbor, but aren't too far from the cruise port and several offer park, stay, cruise packages where you can leave your car. I know that Hampton Inn and Embassy Suites offer packages, but there are probably others as well.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn - BWI. They are super nice, and they have a shuttle if you book the stay, park and cruise package. They even let us have our night before pizza party in the lobby.
