Docking in Key West

Hello, We are traveling on Carnival Fascination to Key West in a few weeks. DS is using a power wheelchair.

I have read a few threads that say a shuttle is provided for passengers to get out of the Navy secured area. Will Carnival automatically have a lift accessible shuttle available? I have tried to contact special services but they tell me to see the excursion desk when I board. I like to be a little more prepared and know exactly what to expect when we dock.

Thanks for any information.

The last time we were in Key West, they saw that one of our passengers was in a motorized scooter. The driver of the shuttle called and a handicapped accessible shuttle arrived shortly thereafter. When we needed to return back to the ship, the same thing happened. It was really no problem and everyone was very accomodating. You may have to wait a few minutes, but otherwise, it's a breeze.

Have a great time!
