Nov 7 Equinox sailing from FLL want English Speaking Taxi in Colon

We are planning to take a taxi to the New Visitors Center to see the new locks and, if we get lucky, a ship passing thru them. The taxi will wait for us. Then we want him/her to drive us back towards Gatun locks and cross the vehicle bridge back and forth. Then we will return to ship. Does anyone want to do this with us. ??? We hear that it is a kind of nifty experience being so close on top of the water.

Me again... I think you will have better luck posting this on your Equinox roll call. This end of Cruise Critic doesn't get a whole lot of traffic. Looks like there is a pretty active Roll Call for your sailing. Here's the link...

We are joining this cruise and are curious if anyone has been to Casco Viejo before. There is not a lot of info on the Ports of Call and we were hoping to head either on private tour or on own and have breakfast or lunch here. Any suggestions would be great.
