Upgrade

Hi there!

I've just been given my room assignment for a Nov 29 sailing. I had originally booked an OV, but I would love to be offered an upgrade to balcony. Should I wait and hope for the upgrade fairy to call me a little closer to sailing?

Or should I call them and ask what the cost would be?

If you call you will likely be offered what the actual cost of upgrading will be. If they call (or increasingly they are e-mailing) then you will be offered a better deal.

A call could never hurt - its not like they are going to raise your fare for contacting them. When you call not only ask the price of an upgrade for your reservation, but also ask if there are any promotions currently being offered that they could re-book your reservation into without penalty.

Also let them know that you would like to be contacted in the future for potential upgrades.
