Scooter in Grenada

my DH will have a mobility scooter on our upcoming cruise. Has anyone tried to go through the Sendall Tunnel in Grenada on a scooter? Does anyone know a way to get to the Carenage without using the tunnel?

Both of us on scooters rode through the tunnel without any problems. We did single file and stayed close to the wall. When we came back through and wandered around in town a bit, we did have to ride in the streets a few places.
