Partner and I just booked this cruise departing from Colon, Panama to Ft. Lauderdale. Anyone else going?

there are 5 of us: Keith/David, Bill/Jeremy and Colin......we just booked our airfare & cruise; $350rt air from Seattle, Yes!!! we can't wait for some sunny weather!

Donald and I thought we were the only ones , he started this thread in nov. Its always nice to have a little family on board:) We fly in on the 17th and are planning to go Gamboa resort. Is any one in your group doing any zip line tours ?? I always wanted to try it , but Donald wont go( afraid of heights )

Have you sighed up for the M&M ?? Hope to here more from you

sorry for the late reply... we have been on the road.

we are arriving on the 17th as well via continental air. we have not been to Panama city, so we are going into the city to take a look at the canal and stuff.

how are you guys getting to the Colon? we see that the train does not run on Sunday. i see that some people are taking the private transportation and hang out at Portabella (sp) on their way to Colon.

yes, I have not tried Ziplining, but my partner has, he said it is alot of fun, you should go for it. i believe they offer that in one of the port that we are going to.

i think i have registered in m&m...i have to double check on that. I am sure i will see you guys at FOD on the ship!!!

My boyfriend and I are going on a Colon roundtrip in March on Enchantment of the Seas. Royal Caribbean says its mostly Latin Americans cruising that trip... so I am a bit nervous about how we will be received onboard (gay rights are not the same in this region of the world). But its interesting to see other gay cruisers picking this route, too.

Still very excited, especially for Cartegena. I hope you all have fun on yours ;)

yes, Slushie, we are excited about this trip....this cruise is a repositioning cruise and I suspect that there will be lots of ppl from Florida so the crowd could be different from a RT Colon cruise.

booked this week...traveling solo, with family, as noone who's not retired dare leave their job for 8 days. Houston here, been to Panama a bunch, taking RCI transfer from PCity on Sunday. Anyone else?

Donald just changed our reservation from Gamboa resort to a hotel in the city I havent got all the details yet. Ill post it later :p

FOD, Someone usally post notice on the bulliten board in the library and at the front deck board,

didn't sign up for the M&M, its a huge crowd now on the other board...a little daunting!

prefer to meet up with fellow "family travelers" over a drink in a quiet bar on board , maybe on night one or two.

who's up for this idea? what's our family count anyway?

Sounds good. Mark and I are in 8040. We talked some friends of ours from Portland into going also. 29 days and counting!

We're just 2 right now...and we can be your translators [Cuban American here]...we just did a 46 day cruise on Mariner of the Seas through out South America and we were received well by locals...guess they loved the GAYS.
