Fern Gully - what's special?

For those that have gone through Fern Gully -- what was special about it besides the fact that it's lush greenery? Did you see anything particular - farming industry etc relative to Jamaica?

This may be a dumb question but I'm just curious if it's more than a back road through greenery view.

Actually, it wasn't that special. Lots of ferns, very green, we were heading up the hill, so there was a slight change in the temperature. There was a row of tents (tables) set up on the side of the road, and our driver stopped, but no one in our group wanted to get out and shop (thank you Lord!). I believe our driver said the road was built over the old creek bed (I think?).....jonathan
