Thoughts on Bastia??...Shore excursions??

We love when ships go into smaller less crowded ports and Bastia sure qualifies :). If we were in that port DW would probably just want to spend the day exploring the city, having a nice long lunch (probably in the Vieux Port area), browsing the shops, perhaps going to the museum, etc. They also have a Petit Train which makes it easy to get a quick overview of the city...for those who do not want to do a lot of walking. You can take your time exploring both the lower city (including the Old port) and the Upper city.

On the other hand, if you want to spend you money on a pricy ship excursion I am sure they offer several options to get out of town and see the countryside. Corsica is primarily a place to look...not do :).
