TirNaNog Posted November 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2014 I read a review on the Princes forum of one of the October partial transit cruises. It was mentioned that in Limon there was some sort of dispute/slow down by truckers that caused traffic delays. Does anyone know if this still is going on? I am trying to decide between taking a Princess vs. independent excursion and am a bit leery of the independent tour if there could be traffic delays. pilotdane Posted November 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2014 (edited) Try visiting the Tico Times website. It's an English language Costa Rican newspaper. I could not find anything specifically about a truckers strike/slowdown in Limon but there have been others around the country with taxis slowing or blocking traffic for this, and truck drivers for that... There was an article about a Limon dock works strike in October. Edited November 21, 2014 by pilotdane
TirNaNog Posted November 24, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted November 24, 2014 Thank you. I did not see anything mentioned about a truckers' protest when I looked at the link.
