HC Cabin 7604 Voyager Class

Have not sailed on Navigator, but have had this on Voyager and Mariner and been very comfortable. Close to elevators, center of ship so not too far from anything. About 50% wider so room for wheelchair or scooter. I suggest checking out a site that shows cabin layouts, such as cruise deck plans dot com for a good rendition.

Hope this helps,

GC

Sorry. Just saw the thread.

There are very good pictures of handicap balcony cabins on Voyager class ships at www.voyager-class.com including HC JS. We will be a in similar one on ther other side on next cruise on Mariner. Mariner and Navigator are generation II ships in Voyager class so there are slight differences - mainly for balcony railing (more glass).

The pictures at the web site above are very similar to what we had on Serenade for Deluxe Oceanview (E2). Lots os great and thoughtful features. If you have not been in a RCI HC cabin one caution - when you insert Sea Pass to open the door DO NOT try to grab the handle. Unlike hotels where you have a few seconds to turn the handle these are automatic doors and it will darned near pull you over. They are very strong openers.

The bathroom is great with easy to use features. One other caution 0 the ramps to the bathroom and balcony stick out into the room so for AB persons walking in room and crossing a ramp the short way it can be a bit of a trip hazzard. Also, there is a switch by the bed that can be mistaken in the dark for a light switch but is really an emergency call button - if activated by mistake it can be turned off in the bathroom.
