holiday inn express rocky point vs. embassy suites westshore in tampa

Hi All!

We're cruising in Jan 09 !!! and need a hotel w/ shuttle for 1 night. I think I've narrowed it down to holiday inn rocky point or embassy suites westshore. I see holiday inn gets lots of positive reviews, while the westshore embassy are pretty mixed. Anyone stayed at either of these recently? The price seems comprable (about 140.) but was wondering if the location at rocky point is too remote - or is embassy close and walkable to (liquor:)) stores and restraunts? Any info is appreciated!!

Joyseas, There aren't any stores in Rocky Point. Its a real nice area, great views and a nice hotel. Embassy West Shore is in the middle of the business district and close to many stores and restaurants.

Thanks Tourlink! I think we've decided on holiday inn. Sounds like their shuttle can get us to stores; and we can enjoy the nice area! I appreciate your input!
