Definitely have local currency (Czech krona/Hungarian forints) available for sundries such as public transportation, drinks at local grocery stores, tiny gifts at the local markets, etc. If you use euros or dollars you will end up spending more out of convenience, or you may find places only accepting local currency. It won't kill you to get $50 bucks or so of local currency at an ATM. If you have leftover money, the staff will not mind if you use it as tips as many of them are from these countries. I have been there several times and am always sorry when I run out of local currency. You always end up needing it at the most inconvenient times!
