Difference between Spirit and Star?

Hi all,

I think I must be missing something pretty obvious on Windstar's website. Can anyone tell me the difference between the Spirit and the Windstar vessels?

They are sister ships so I think they are pretty much identical. They may be on different schedules for refurbishments.

They are basically the same ship. One difference is the lounge area on deck 3. If you look at the deck plans - the white area behind the lounge is a small deck on Wind Star and it is enclosed and part of the lounge on Wind Spirit.

The other area of difference is the cabin design. The Wind Star has the new design as shown in this thread. The Wind Spirit still has the old cabin, but I believe is scheduled for the new design in 2015.

I liked the old cabin design just fine until I got to experience the new one:D!
