NCL Ultimate Beverage Package and Pre paid gratuities question!

Hi everyone.

We just booked our first cruise around the Med on the Norwegian Epic in september.

We have the Ultimate beverage package but have declined the pre paid gratuity.

My question is. will we get the 18% charge for each drink we order or is it all in. i'm in the Uk if it makes a difference!

If you booked through the UK Site then no you don't pay gratuities.

If you booked through the US then you pay gratuities. They are added as a separate item on to your cruise fare, and you will see it on your itemised bill.

18% of the cost of each drink you order is the same as 18% of the total cost of all the drinks you order.

When I bought the UBC last year (in the US), I had no choice but to pre-pay a gratuity on the package. Then, once on board, unless I went over the dollar limit on the drink, I never had a tip to pay again, nor any slips to sign.
