Any recent reviews on Inn at the Waterpark?

We are driving in from San Antonio the Saturday prior to our January Cruise on Carnival Magic. Since we needed a hotel anyway I think we got a really great deal. We will have 2 cars with us - 4 adults - 2 kids. I booked 2 rooms with them that will include free parking for both cars the length of the cruise, shuttle to and from port, and a round of mini golf for $170 including tax.

Anybody? I'd love to hear too.

Need info on this also :)

It's a medium rated motel to crash and for moderate pricing for Moody Gardens and Schiterbaun and Crusing and Beach Crowd. It has had mixed reviews over years but recent ones I've seen good for pricing . There is an old building and a newer one . Which could make for some differences in reviews . A restaurant on site, and two at Moody Gardens across street a cafe and Shearns (4-5 star) top floor with excellent sunsets. Jimmy's on Pier over Gulf down street and Gino's Italian and another Italian close by with BYOB!

Thanks for purposes of needing a place to sleep just so we are already in Galveston on Sunday and avoiding the cost of parking both cars I think we made the right choice.

just following up we plan to always use this hotel when we leave out of galveston- no complaints, very accommodating to January fog, clean, and reliable shuttle. Also felt very at ease leaving our vehicles.
