Bodo, Norway? Narvik, Norway? What Should We See and Do?

Certainly make sure you visit the Church in Bodo. The detached bell tower us a feature but the inside is also worth a look. My only visit was on a Hurtigruten ship so I had only limited time there

Narvik has an interesting, though small, War Museum

I have also only visited Bodo from a Hurtigruten ship (but several times). Bodo is unfortunately not the most picturesque town in Norway (it's a part of the country which has been heavily destroyed during WW2). If you are interested in planes, there is an aviation museum which is supposed to be good (I haven't visited it, so I hope it's OK to mention it? http://luftfartsmuseum.no/en/ ). Bodo can also be the start for an excursion to Saltstraumen, a strong tidal current which is pretty spectacular to see. You can approach it by land (by bus) or by the sea. There are chances your boat will offer this excursion, or you can DIY, there are companies offering sea safari to Salstraumen from Bodo.
