Festive Cruise on Ventura

On the 4 night new year cruise on Oceana a few years ago we did not get to Amsterdam due to high winds so only had one port (Zeebrugge for Bruges).

I had a lovely time but not sure if they put on extra entertainment as we were supposed to be docked. There was lots going on and at midnight there was the big countdown in the atrium and in the other public rooms.

Last year Ventura was unfortunately unable to dock in Amsterdam.

I really fancy this one. I've been watching the price for a couple of months now,,it's gone up £20 since Thursday. I met a lady on holiday in August who said that they hadn't been able to get into the locks to get up to Amsterdam last year and I'm sure she said something about Rotterdam instead,,it was noisy though so I may have mis-heard. Wasn't last xmas and new year particularly bad for storms though?
