Casino question on QM2

You can bring $USD paper ( no coins of course ) to the tables but as far as the slots, you will need to convert any change into tokens at the casino cashier. Except for the 'flip-it' machine, the slot machines only take the ships tokens. Slots come in 5c / 25c / $1 and $5. You can get a cash advance at the cashier against your shipboard account but they will charge you 3%.

The sad thing is, if you win over $1,200 on any slot, U.S. citizens and permanent residents have to pay income tax to Uncle Sam - any other nationals do not. Not that I've won that much onboard :) but I think that being on a foreign ( non U.S. ) registered vessel and being a thousand miles off of any U.S. shore and still having to be taxed is ridiculous.

Good luck and happy $ailing$.
