HELP PRETTY PLEASE!! NICE to BARCELONA

After disembarking in Nice on 9/16 we have decided that we would really like backtrack to Barcelona and then travel thru Spain and end up in Madrid. Are we NUTS???

Is this an impossible itinerary? Has anyone done it? Please let me hear your thoughts...

Why should you be nuts? Anything is possible given time. Try this link for trains http://www.travelnotes.org/General/eurotrains.htm and I am sure if you Goooooooogle in "Air France" or "Iberian Airline" or indeed "European Air Transport" you will find out what is possible. Even car-hire. It would make an interesting trip.
