never bidded before on pricleine hotwire expedia, teavelocity

how dies it all work pelase

i know once you bid you can not CANCEL.

do you find out asap if it has been accepted?

do you them call the hotel to verify it?

i need a room for 1 nite sat 1-3-09 pre cruise

i prefer not to rent a car

please advise asap

i have made and cancelled 3 reservations at otherv places because i heard they were bnot in good neighborhoods or clean

The only place you bid is on Priceline. You usually know within a minute if your bid has been accepted. If you go to a site like http://www.biddingfortravel.com you can get information about how to maximize your bidding strategies.

On the other sites you book at a set rate. On Hotwire you book a set rate but don't know what hotel you are booking until you have already paid.
