In Cozumel, we are going to Mr. Sanchos for the all inclusive beach break, and in Grand Cayman, we are going to spend the day at seven mile beach between Calico Jacks and Harbor Heights. As for Roatan and Costa Maya, we haven't decided on them yet.

Hi!

My partner and I are moving to St. Petersburg and we want to take a cruise out of Tampa this fall since it will be so close.

This looks like a good possibility. The Vision has recently been refurbished and new dining venues added.

I'll keep you posted if we do book this.

Cheers!

John

You won't be disappointed with Vision, she is a pretty ship and all of the ships in this class are very well appointed with enough intimacy and quiet spaces without feeling crowded like her bigger sisters.

I am so ready to be on Vision of the Seas! The other day, I was looking at cabins and categories and realized that our cabin is on deck four directly under the casino. I am a heave sleeper but my partner does not sleep so deeply. I called RCI and they seem to have a lot of cabins still available. I wonder if the cruise will be booked full?

What are you guys planning to do in Roatan?

Did they allow you to change your stateroom?

RCI will let you change cabins at any time up to a week or two prior to departure I called primarily to see if I could find any specials or upgrades since a lot of cabins look to be vacant.

As for Roatan, we haven't decided. From what I've heard in the news, there seems to be a lot of crime some of it passenger related. We don't like Jamaica for the pushy locals and crime and prefer to stay on the ship or remain in the secured area. If we decide to do any excursions, RCI offers a west bay beach break for less than $30. Since we are the only ship in port that day, it shouldn't be too busy. I think the excursion is only available for purchase onboard.

Have you decided on any shore excursions? In Roatan, we are going to just go with the flow and see what happens and maybe take the water taxi to West Bay. In Costa Maya, we are going to Maya Chan, and Mr.Sanchos in Cozumel and 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman.

Once we found out that booking independent excursions were so much cheaper and the same operator is used onboard as well, we haven't been on a ship sponsored excursion in years.

No we have not booked any shore excursions. We may book one onboard, not sure. In port we usually just go shopping, find a nice restaurant, or just head to the nearest beach. We leave two weeks from today. Yeah. See you soon.
