Jewel out of Houston Bayport

I am on the Jewel in Jan. Looking for advise on where to stay pre night. Is it better to stay in Houston and then shuttle or taxi to the port? Or go and stay some place half way between? We will not have a car.

Any help will be appreciated.

We are flying into IAH and have decided to stay at the Best Western Plus Intercontinental (on points). They have a shuttle to the airport. We will shuttle back to the airport the morning of our cruise and take the NCL shuttle to Bayport Cruise Terminal. Best solution for my family. Best of luck!

Go to Kemah Boardwalk

There are motels hotels also at and in area

And then walk to boardwalk .

There are a couple of hotels near the Cruise Terminal that have duration of cruise parking and shuttle to and from the terminal deals.
