mayan ruins & beach break combo

Has anyone done this one thru Carnival?

Done Tulum, great ruins and awesome beach.

We are looking at the same tour, and hope someone replies! I'm anxious to hear about it.

Martin. Doubt if you went to Tulum from Progreso. But from Progreso you can visit Uxmal or Chichen Itza for major Mayan ruins. While the Progreso beach is pretty nice, the water is not the clear water of the Caribbean.
