Is it worth it to book through the cruise line?

Why in the world would you spend $35 when all along the beach beer is $2.00?

It is right at the end of the pier...not our expectation of a Caribbean beach??

Because of the fact that it isn't the Caribbean.

Instead of the touristy Corona thing, why not walk the beach and then zip into Eladios right in front of the beach - you can watch the silly people in the Corona area from your table, while ordering beer and getting rounds and rounds of botana or local snax with each round of drinks. The botana is free and gets better, progressing from simple things to more elaborate dishes as you continue to order beer. Don't bother ordering from the menu as you will be happy with the snax.
