authentic restaurant recommedation

Looking for an authentic restaurant close to downtown in cozumel. want authentic food in a cute non touristy place that won't make me sick. thanks

Try La Choza, on Rosado Salas and Calle 3 Sur, noted as well for it's Yucatan dishes and the new place has very nicecourtyard style seating.

You can find a nice outdoor courtyard seating at Panchos Back Yard in the Los Cinco Soles store just north of the Plaza near the waterfront. Many crusiers enjoy the food and strong margaritas here.

Casa Denis just off the west side of Plaza, is one of the oldest restaurants in Cozumel know for its authentic Yucatan style dishes and you cna sit outside and watch the goings on along the shopping streets.

I love Casa Denis as well!

Do not forget *EL MORO* - family run and excellent food. Notice it only opens at 1:00 PM local time! (closed Thursdays).
