Pools on Caribbean Princess

Recommended Posts

Thanks to everyone who has posted photos.

Now two questions about the pools.

Looking at the main pool photos (not the one with the movie screen and not the lap pool) it seems to be smaller/different shape than the main pool on the Grand. The deck plans indicate that they are the same shape, but does anyone know if this is true?

Does the activity center around the "movie" pool or the main pool? - I read that the pool games were at the movie pool, I assume that the band is at the main pool.

Any info from those on the first sailing?

VN:

You are correct, activities (cruise staff) are by the movie pool and the band is by the main pool.

mandie - unless I missed it, the only pool in the forward section of the ship is a fairly small pool just outside the Lotus Spa. It is the one, I believe, that has the current you can swim against.

Torbs is correct about the small pool on the bow. It is for the crew. Last year when I was on the Grand, I was allowed access to stand on top of the bridge (along with other passengers) to check out the view. And what a view it was! You could see everywhere, including the crew pool on the bow.
