Has anyone been to Dzib. on their own--Taken a cab or a tour bus from Progreso? How much is a cab or tour for two people? Will they wait for us if we stay for a couple of hours or will we need to call for another one? Will we need a guide to see the Ruins? Thanks. Love Cruise Critic.

You definitely will want a guide. I've read here that you can hire a cab to take you to the ruins, wait while you tour and then on to Merida for $40 to $50. If you wanted to return to Progreso I would guess the same.
