thanks again everyone...there doesn't seem to be alot of options getting from the cruise port to Bruges... Cruise Express stops at noon....on going into town....does anyone know if your ship comes in at 11:00 (which is the time ours expected in) do they go beyond 12:00 to accommodate the later arrival of the ship?

Hi, We are going to be in Belgium this July on RCCL Anthem of the Sea. Been doing some research and I have a couple of questions. 1. It looks like the best way to get from the port to the city is via Cruise Express. Planning to just get our tickets there, where would they sell them and will they take credit cards? 2. I believe I read there are 5 chocolatiers,(I'm sure there's more that sell chocolates) in the city....which is the best one? 3. Where is the best place to try a Belgium Waffle? 4. Where do you suggest get some Belgium Beer flights? 5. Do most places take credit cards, or do we need to get Euros? Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Do they have cabs/taxis that are in port willing to take you to wherever you want to go? so this way, we don't have to book any excursions in advance.

Hi, We will be in Flam, July 9,2024 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on RCCL Anthem of the Sea. We were wondering if there is a reputable tour company that can take us to the Stegastein Viewpoint and the Tvinde Waterfalls. Or what are our options for transportation that include those 2 spots? or other suggestions of must sees in Flam? Thanks in advance for any comments!

We will be going on a cruise in June. We want to do a boat tour to see the Arch, etc. I'm not sure if there are other options of the boat tours to the arch, but so far I'm only seeing Water Taxi or Glass bottom boat. Which would be better to do, or are there other boat tours? We are 4 adults. How much would the water taxi be round trip to the arch and back? Do they say anything about what you are looking at? How much would the glass bottom boat be? we really don't care about the glass bottom just looking into tour boats. We don't want to get dropped off at any beaches (our friends might), but we just want to get some great pictures and come back and do some shopping and walking around the port area and of course have a local drink or two. Thanks, these are great suggestions...I didn't consider dinner, because I assume most would rather eat on their own time. I also, considered trying to find a place on the ship and having drinks together before dinner and discussing what everyone is doing for the evening like Karaoke, etc. but late nights will not work with the ones with young ones who go to bed early....so I was trying think of something to do during the day, too...Maybe a mini golf tourney, bumper cars ? If they have them on the ship we pick. As of now we will not be getting family shirts....but who knows...maybe we will, if everyone wants too.

Still waiting on family responses, but I think maybe between 20-25.

Hi, I'm trying to get a Family Reunion together for 2024. As of now probably on the Anthem of Sea or Oasis of the Seas. I'd like to get some ideas of what kind of activities we can plan for a couple of hours a day....I want everyone to enjoy the cruise and the islands on their own if they want, but I would like to have us all get together, at least once a day and enjoy being together. Age group will be 2-65. (Just 1 2 year old and 1 5 year old...the rest pre teen and up.) Open to ALL suggestions!!

Thanks Schoifmom! Good to know! Does anyone know, if they have sales on the Cheers Package, or is it always $59.95. Also, I do have another question, do they take the gratuities at the time you get your drinks?
