Hey all, just off the Imagination's 8/27 sailing. I'll try to post a review later, but thought I'd throw it out there for any questions you might have.

As usual, I found the answers I was looking for from you guys, so here's my chance to return the favor.

Ship looks very nice btw, you'd never guess she would be in for the major upgrade in about a month.

Welcome Back! We are sailing on her in October and are looking forward to seeing the ship after the dry dock. I don't know if you chat with crew members as much as we do, but was wondering if any of them mentioned what they do once dry dock happens. We wondered if this might be a repositioning time for them and if there would be alot of new crew members on our sailing.

Also, we have been reading about some of the ships having a bathrobe party one night. Did that happen on the Inspriation?

I did not speak to any of the crew about the drydock. I have read in the past on a long drydock most get assigned somewhere else while some stay on to support the crew that will be doing the actual renovations. It is supposed to be a 4 to 5 week drydock so I'm guessing most are reassigned.

I believe the refurb is being done in the US so I don't think there is any repositioning cruises. The Inspiration just did it's last cruise and is shown out of service until like October. No repo itinerary, so I would imagine all the Fantasy class drydocks will be done locally. Oh and no bathrobe party that I was aware of, but then I went to bed fairly early most nights.

We did the Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassua itinerary. I loved both Grand Turk and HMC. In fact, I'd say HMC has one of the nicest beaches I've ever been on and its a truly private island. The water is crystal clear and the sand is like white flour. The cruise line did a nice job building the cruise center in Grand Turk, if you like to snorkle or dive this would be the place. We didnt do much in Nassau. Took a cab to see Atlantis. ($4 per person, but ask to make sure they have air conditioning) Our cab on the way over did not have air and was VERY hot and humid. Atlantis is a beautiful hotel, you can walk around the lobby, use the casino and eat in the restaurant. There is also part of the aquarium that can be seen for free. If you want to see "the dig" or the rest of the aquarium it is $32 per adult. I did not ask what the prices were for a day pass to use the pools. The ship does offer an excurision that includes a boat ride and an Atlantis tour. I don't know the full details of that one though.

Hope that helps, let me know if there are any other questions.

I've been on the Imagination more than once this year and I never saw any kind of bathrobe party and I'm out and about on the ship at pretty much all hours of the day and night.

As for the dry dock, the Imagination goes in in mid-October and will be out again mid-November. Can't WAIT to see the changes!

I have a few questions... we sail in December, so I was wondering about the following: (If you will be writing a review that will be covering this, then just disregard.

How was the food? Any thing that stood out or that you would recommend?

How were the activities, and do you know if they are still giving away "Ships on a Stick"?

What type of room were you in?

Thanks so much... have a great day.
